Infertility

Infertility is the inability to conceive or carry a pregnancy to term in a man or woman, the inability to become pregnant after at least a year of regular sexual activity without contraception. The category of infertile people includes not only infertile people, but also people with a low chance of conceiving a child, therefore the term “infertile”



Infertility (from the Latin infertilis - infertile, infertile), complete impotence of the gonads (sex glands) in combination with the inability to inseminate a partner during sexual intercourse, as well as the absence of normal menstruation during puberty (gender-appropriate estrous cycle) indicates fertility. The condition of infertility can be associated with various pathological conditions affecting the reproductive system and leading to infertility in men or women.
