Interleukin 1-Beta

Interleukin 1-beta: properties, application and production

Interleukin 1-beta (IL-1β) is a protein cytokine that plays an important role in the body's immune system. It is an important mediator of inflammatory responses and is involved in many biological processes such as the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis and the regulation of hematopoiesis and cell proliferation.

IL-1β is produced in response to infection, injury, or other physical or chemical insults to the body. It is produced by a variety of cells, including monocytes, macrophages and dendritic cells.

IL-1β is used in medicine as a stimulator of hematopoiesis. It promotes the proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic cells and may be useful in the treatment of certain types of cancer and other blood diseases.

IL-1β is produced by several companies, including the GNII of Highly Pure Biological Preparations and GNIISKLS in Russia. Dosage forms of IL-1β include substance and standard sample.

IL-1β is also an important target of research in immunology and medicine, as its role in various pathological conditions is not yet fully understood. A better understanding of the molecular mechanisms associated with IL-1β may lead to the development of new treatments for many diseases associated with the immune system.
