The internal thigh muscle (g. femoris internus), also called the internal adductor muscle, is a small muscle group located in the inner thigh. It plays an important role in maintaining balance and stability of the body while walking and running. In fact, the inner thigh muscle is the only muscle inside the thigh that originates from the lower limb.
