Camphomen aerosol: description, application and features

Camphomene aerosol is an antiseptic that is used for diseases of the upper respiratory tract, such as acute rhinitis, pharyngitis and pharyngolaryngitis. The drug is produced by Stoma in Ukraine and contains camphor, castor oil, menthol, nitrofural and eucalyptus oil.

Camphor has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and irritant effects. Castor oil improves blood circulation and has an anti-inflammatory effect. Menthol has a cooling and analgesic effect, and also reduces nasal congestion. Nitrofural is an antibacterial agent, and eucalyptus oil has an antiseptic effect.

Camphomene aerosol is in the form of a spray and is used by spraying onto the mucous membrane of the nose and throat. The drug is not recommended for use by children under 5 years of age, people working in dusty conditions, or those with hypersensitivity to its components.

According to the literature, no side effects have been described when using Camphomen aerosol, and interactions with other drugs are not known. There is also no data on overdose and special instructions for use of the drug.
