Dwarfism

The concept of dwarfism (dwarfism) was introduced back in 1880 by the English anatomist W. Butts as a collective term to designate pathological conditions characterized by pronounced features that distinguish the body from the norm (characteristic of a given species of animal or human) and impede its normal growth and development .

There are constitutional dwarfism due to a decrease in body weight with normal growth and pathological dwarfism due to impaired final growth and a slowdown in growth intensity at each

Dwarfism is a congenital developmental anomaly, which is characterized by growth and development in the human body of a smaller size than that of the average person. It is observed in childhood or at any age. The cause of the pathology can be a violation of the formation of tissues, organs and body systems, which lead to a decrease in physiological indicators.
