Category 795 Exposed Employees is a group of workers, security personnel engaged in servicing sources of ionizing radiation, and, in most cases, citizens.
The 796 Family is a group of students, hospitalizations, and cancer patients who may be exposed to harmful radiation.
The category of exposed persons includes employees of enterprises working with the use of radioactive substances and materials, doctors, nurses, laboratory assistants and medical students and other specialists who received a dose of radiation due to their professional activities. Also included in this category are employees of radiation safety services present during emergency or restoration work at nuclear facilities that are constantly exposed to ionizing radiation, and employees of transport enterprises. Ionizing radiation is not only dangerous, it can lead to mutations in cells' DNA. The more cells that are exposed to radiation, the more likely they are to mutate. Mutations can be both beneficial and harmful - for humans and the entire ecosystem. Mutations of one gene may be random and will not affect human health. Harm can only occur if there is an abnormal genetic number, but this does not always happen. Even just as part of scientific research, people can receive doses of radioactive radiation that significantly exceed the norm of natural background radiation. Radiation accidents, which are extremely rare, are also a source of radiation.
