Category B of Exposed Persons

Category B of exposed persons is a limited part of the population that is at risk of exposure. There are two main factors that can lead to people falling into Category B exposed persons:

The first is radiation pollution of the environment, for example, due to an accident at a nuclear power plant or other sources of radiation. In this case, people may be in an area where the radiation level is higher than permissible standards and requires measures to be taken to protect themselves from exposure to radiation.

The second is professional activity. People working in areas involving radiation or its production are at increased risk of exposure and should undergo regular medical examinations and receive radiation protection in accordance with safety standards
