Keloids are hypertrophic (growing) forms of scar tissue. Keloid formations usually appear against the background of excessive scarring of the skin after injury, surgery and burns. Kelodes are noticeable, rough, brightly colored, lumpy and flat, and their color may be uneven. Usually
