Enterogenic cyst

Enterogenous cyst (s. enterogena, enterogenous cyst) is a rare congenital pathology characterized by the presence of a cyst in the intestinal wall, which can be caused by various factors.

Cysts can come in various sizes and shapes. They can be single or multiple.

Enterogenous cysts may be asymptomatic and do not require treatment, but in some cases they can cause various symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, constipation or diarrhea.

Treatment for cysts depends on their size, shape, and symptoms. In some cases, cysts can be removed surgically. Drug treatments may also be used.

In general, enterogenous cysts are a rare disease, but they require attention and treatment from a gastroenterologist.
