Clarifer

Clarifer: an effective drug for allergies and related symptoms

Clarifer (international name - loratadine) is one of the most popular drugs used to treat allergic reactions. It belongs to the pharmaceutical group of H1-histamine receptor blockers and is produced in Russia by the pharmaceutical company Bryntsalov-A. Clarifer effectively copes with various allergic manifestations and has a minimum number of side effects.

The main active ingredient of the drug is loratadine. It blocks the action of histamine, a substance responsible for allergic symptoms such as itching, hives, runny nose and watery eyes. Clarifer effectively relieves these symptoms and promotes overall well-being in case of allergic reactions.

The drug is presented in two dosage forms: in the form of tablets containing 0.01 g of active substance and in the form of syrup containing 0.1%. This allows you to choose the most convenient and suitable form for each patient.

Clarifer is widely used to treat a variety of allergic diseases, including allergic rhinitis (seasonal and year-round), hay fever, allergic conjunctivitis, urticaria, pruritic dermatoses, reactions to insect bites, angioedema and bronchial asthma. It can also be used as an adjuvant in the treatment of bronchial asthma.

It should be noted that the drug has some contraindications. Clarifer is not recommended for use in cases of hypersensitivity to loratadine, during lactation and in children under 2 years of age. In case of pregnancy, the use of the drug is possible only under strict medical indications and under the supervision of a doctor.

Like any medicine, Clarifer may have side effects. Some of them include headache, drowsiness, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, dizziness, nervousness, restlessness, agitation (in children), insomnia, fainting, amnesia, depression, hyperkinesia and others. In most cases, these side effects are minor and temporary.

The interaction of Clarifer with other drugs should also be taken into account. Erythromycin and ketoconazole, cimetidine can increase the concentration of loratadine in the blood, so their combination requires caution and supervision by a physician.

Overall, Clarifer is an effective and safe drug when used correctly. However, it is recommended that you consult your doctor before starting to use it, especially if you have any underlying health conditions or are taking other medications.

It is important to follow the recommended dosage and not exceed it. If you experience any side effects or worsening of your condition, you should seek medical attention immediately.
