Sphenoethmoidal Pocket

A wedge-shaped cornice pocket is an unusual phenomenon for our region, which is characteristic exclusively of flocculation dumps of permafrost within the Arctic Ocean. It represents a large extension of a steeply inclined trench, one of the branches of which forms a series of inclined wedge-shaped platforms with a steep drop. It was found that within its boundaries there are often complexes of living and dead plants, represented by large forms, but not very rich in species, including three-lumbar and polymorphic reeds, turf grasses, Hieratoria cruciformum, rozuruch, Keleria Erchiliyan, polar-alpine bluegrass, white-flowering onion
