Veda: an effective remedy for the treatment of scabies and pediculosis

Veda is an anti-pediculosis and anti-scabies product produced by the Russian pharmaceutical company DDD. It contains the active substance permethrin, which effectively fights infection with scabies mites Sarcoptes Scabiei and lice and nits caused by head and pubic lice.

Veda is available in shampoo form, which can be easily applied to the hair and scalp. It contains permethrin in a concentration sufficient to eliminate parasites and prevent their reappearance.

It should be noted that Veda has some contraindications and side effects. For example, the use of Veda is not recommended for hypersensitivity to synthetic pyrethroids, chrysanthemums and other plants containing pyrethrins, as well as during pregnancy and lactation. Early childhood is also a contraindication for using the Veda in certain forms. In addition, local reactions are possible, such as burning, tingling or pinching sensations, increased itching, erythema and allergic reactions.

When using Veda, it is necessary to avoid contact with the mucous membranes of the eyes, nose, mouth and genitourinary tract. After the procedure, you should wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water, and medical personnel are recommended to wear rubber gloves when frequently handling patients' hair. Procedures should be carried out in a well-ventilated area or outdoors. If itching continues for more than 4 weeks after scabies treatment, a doctor's consultation is necessary.

In general, Veda is an effective and affordable remedy for the treatment of scabies and lice. However, like any other medicine, before using it, you must consult your doctor and carefully study the instructions for use.
