Colibacillosis is an infectious disease caused by bacteria of the genus Escherichia coli.

Escherichia coli is a normal intestinal flora of humans and animals. However, under certain conditions it can become pathogenic and cause colibacillosis.

The infection is transmitted through contaminated water, food, contact with infected animals and people. Transmission of infection through medical instruments and equipment is also possible.

Symptoms of colibaciliosis may include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, fever and general weakness. In severe cases, dehydration and disruption of internal organs may occur.

To treat colibacillosis, antibiotics are used, which are selected depending on the type of pathogen. It is also necessary to follow a diet limiting fatty, spicy and salty foods, drink plenty of fluids and take probiotics to restore normal intestinal microflora.

To avoid infection with coli-bacilosis, you need to follow the rules of hygiene and eat only proven products. It is also important to keep your hands clean and avoid touching your eyes and mouth with unwashed hands.
