Confabulation Fantastic

Fantastic confabulation is a term used in modern psychiatry to describe a certain situation. This is the superimposition of memories from different periods of the patient’s life onto the existing present time. Whether or not patients are aware of the very fact of such an imposition. At the same time, some patients are aware of this fact and partially deny it, while others do not understand the truth of the situation. The patient reports completely consistent, reliable memories from which his dysmorphophobia naturally follows. But when the patient talks about his “fantastic” memories, the interlocutor does not believe him, because he has real memories from the present time, according to his stories.
