Contracture Flexion

Flexion contractures (segmental lesions of the muscles of the limb) are an irreversible limitation of passive and active movements in the joint due to neurological disorders due to injuries or diseases of the nervous system. They are manifested by pain, limitation of rotation of the humerus, shortening of muscles, varus position of the shoulder, decreased muscle strength and rapid fatigue when performing any movements, for example, trying to bring the hand closer to the shoulder, the patient is forced to extend the shoulder, i.e., flexion paralysis occurs on the shoulder segments of the limb.
