Crypt-Abscess

A crypt abscess is a malignant formation in the wall of the pharynx or larynx, usually located deep in the “crypt,” that is, inside the groove. It is observed relatively rarely in young people and can be unilateral or bilateral. The cause of its occurrence is unknown. There are three clinical forms of K. - warty, ulcerative (ulcers can be cicatricial) and nodular. Treatment is surgical with excision of the affected tissue. The prognosis for early detection of the disease is determined by the degree of prevalence of the process.
