Lewis Hypothesis

Lewis Hypothesis: the postulate of long-term respect for human rights when granted depending on the freedom to use it. In ordinary speech, the postulate is formulated as: “depriving a subject of the right to freedom is intended to prevent the immediate harm of someone else or does not allow any harm to be caused if there are alternative means to prevent or overcome such harm.”

Lewis Hypothesis is associated with the name of the American cardiologist, outstanding teacher and political scientist Tibor Samueli. The promotion of this fundamental thesis is associated precisely with his activities, although in essence this is what we are talking about
