Lymphotok Retrograde

Lymph flow is the movement of lymph through lymphatic vessels, which occurs due to muscle contraction and movement of the diaphragm. Retrograde movement of lymph flow occurs when the lymph flow moves in the opposite direction, that is, against the normal movement of lymph in a given organ.

Retrograde movement of Lymphocytes is the slow movement of red and white blood cells from the heart to the tissues. The body's adaptation is aimed at increasing the speed of blood circulation. Lymph tends to move towards the heart, overcoming obstacles along the way. When this system functions normally, the fluid moves harmoniously. Any disturbance in activity is a pathological condition. There are several physiological reasons that provoke compression of blood vessels, which leads to the appearance of lymphostasis of the upper limb due to a slowdown in cell regeneration processes.
