Traumatic lipogranulomas are benign tumors that arise as a result of chronic inflammation of the subcutaneous fatty tissue after injury. They can occur in both adults and children, as well as with a history of long-term chronic soft tissue injuries. Lipogranuloma, traumatic, is most often associated with severe penetrating wounds in the hip or shoulder. It occurs in athletes, fishermen, loggers and other people who engage in physical activities and often have scars in the area of injury or old scars. One of the first signs of lipogranuloma is its external manifestations, namely painless swelling at the site of injury and redness; as it progresses, papules may form, sometimes with the formation of nodules. In the clinical picture of lipogranuloma, compaction and soreness of the affected area are observed; small tubercles from yellowish to red may appear on its surface
