Marshall–Marchetti is a complex and rare operation that is performed in gynecology to treat patients with a wide range of gynecological diseases. The operation was named after two great surgeons - Marshall (American gynecologist) and Market (Italian gynecologist).

This type of surgery is performed on the uterus or ovaries of women. The Marshall-Marchet operation is used only when other methods do not give any result. The operation is based on a high degree of precision execution. Therefore, it requires a lot of experience and knowledge from the surgeon to perform it. Using correct and careful access to the uterus and its elements, the surgeon provides assistance to both the woman and the partner in order to prolong the opportunity to become pregnant or cure a female disease.
