Mastocytosis Xanthelasmoid

Mastocytoma xanthylasmoides, or xanthomelasma, is a rare, benign skin disease that appears as multiple spots on the skin of the face and hands.

Mastocytoma xanthylasma is a contamination that usually affects the skin of the face, arms and even legs. It is a myeloproliferative disease often associated with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. The disease is characterized by the appearance of white spots with a yellow center on the affected areas of the skin. The surface of the spot is affected by excessive pigmentation, possibly with peeling. It is most often observed in patients over 40 years of age, but can occur in both adults and children.

The main method for diagnosing the disease is histological examination of the tissue of the affected area of skin. When examining blood smears from the surface of a spot on the skin, an increase in the number of mature plasma cells at the base of the tissue and an increase in the number of mast cells in the layers of the epidermis and dermis can be detected. The radiograph shows signs of diffuse processes in parenchymal organs. In the cytoplasm there are deposits that contain eosinophilic material and the ZR8 gene, characteristic of xanthils and other abnormalities
