Cystic-fibrous mastopathy

“Fibrocystic mastopathy” is a dangerous breast disease that can occur in women of any age and at any stage of their life. It affects the inner walls of the mammary glands, leading to the formation of cysts and fibrosis. In this article we will look at what cystic fibrous mastopathy is, how it manifests itself and what treatment methods exist.

What is fibrocystic mastopathy?

Mastopathic fibrocystic formation is a neoplasm of the mammary glands that occurs as a result of the palatal disease process, in which abnormal tissues (cysts) are already formed, or these tissues grow (fibroadenomas). In some cases, changes in fibrous tissue on the surface of the breast are observed (giant nipple dominants, fibroadenomas, nodular mastopathy). With this disease, non-cancerous neoplasms (ducts, fibrous-modified adipose tissue, lymphatic vessels, internal lymph nodes, infiltrates, abscesses, papillomas, etc.) can form on the chest.

Causes

The main factors causing fibrocystic mastopathy include dishormonal changes, heredity, and use of hormonal contraceptives. This diagnosis is caused by stress, decreased immunity, breast trauma, constant worry and lack of sleep, as well as various factors that damage breast tissue. Often a hereditary predisposition contributes to the onset of the disease. During menopause, hormonal fluctuations intensify the disease, so cystic fibrous mastapotia is most often diagnosed during this period.
