Lately, I can’t imagine my life without such a little thing as matting wipes. It’s a useful thing, I try to have a pack in my bag and at work. I tried different brands, but except for luxury, and to be honest, I don’t notice any special differences in paper napkins, but I still prefer not napkins, but films, which are found in variety from Asian manufacturers. Today I’ll tell you about the ones I use right now, blue films from the Koreans Tony Moli.
So, matting films are blue rectangles made of a specific material: it is rubberized and stretches a little if desired. In fact, it is recommended to pull them a little to the sides before and during use.
I find the packaging convenient: there is a piece of Velcro on the lid, to which the next film is automatically attached, so there is no situation when you catch several napkins with your hand and cannot stuff them back into the pack. At the same time, Velcro, in my experience with Korean matting films, works until the end of the pack (this is a stone in the garden, I don’t remember exactly which napkins, common in our latitudes, were enough for the first five, and then that’s it, take it out as you want). The box itself closes well, you can carry it in your purse and not worry about any debris or dust particles getting on the napkins.
I suppose the first question that arises for me is why films and not tracing paper? No, you won’t notice any dramatic differences in the effect, but according to my feelings, they still collect a little more fat without damaging makeup, and instantly - you just need to apply the film to your face for a split second, and it will absorb everything unnecessary. You have to hold paper napkins longer, or even crawl across your face, which is extremely undesirable when you have foundation. And also - the films are dense and, thanks to the rubberized material, do not slip out of the hands when used (there is a direct “grip” both with the hands and with the face).
One film is enough for my entire face, although their size is small - 8x5 cm. I use it most often once a day, at lunch, although, of course, sometimes more depending on need.
The downside is the relatively small quantity per package (50 pieces) and its price. I urgently wanted such films and I grabbed them in an offline store for 380 rubles.(((Well, there are such momentary shopping desires. Although online you can easily find them for 200 rubles. But in essence, these are not the disadvantages of the product, but my “shortcomings” .)
So if you come across one at an affordable price, I advise you to try it and compare it with regular napkins, maybe you’ll like it too.
In my “bag” cosmetics bag there is nothing else except lip gloss, sanitizer spray and mattifying wipes. I use them all year round and who else but they can quickly remove oily shine from the face and give the desired matteness to the skin without the use of powder? Today, two brands will compete for the title of winner during the test drive - Etude House and Innisfree.
Matting film napkins came to us from the hot and humid Asian climate. They differ from thin paper napkins in their material - these are film napkins. Thin sheets of microporous film effectively absorb excess oil on the skin, leaving the skin dry and clean.
One or maximum two films are enough for my face. They matte for a very long time, and therefore are economical. One package contains 50 rectangular films of soft blue color. Several Korean brands produce such napkins in the form of films, and they are all the same in their properties (I'm sure there is only one manufacturer of these films; brands simply package them under their own names). I tried two brands, Innisfree And Etude House, but there are others.
The packaging with matting films is made very convenient. It has Velcro, to which the napkin sticks when pressed, and you carefully take it out without touching the rest.
By absorbing sebum, the mattifying napkin becomes transparent.
How to distinguish matting film napkins from paper ones? The packaging should say Oil Blotting Film or Oil Control Film. If it says film, this is a matting film.
Today we have a test drive of two winning brands of matting film napkins, because they are absolutely identical in properties and differ only in the color of the packaging.
Have you tried these mattifying facial films? Which ones did you like best?
