Medical Aid First

**First aid and its importance**

First medical aid is a set of emergency measures that are carried out in the affected area or outside it on victims before the arrival of medical workers. It is predominantly provided by the public and eyewitnesses or by medical professionals specially trained for these purposes. First aid can also be provided by all emergency medical services specialists.

The main task of first medical aid is to stabilize the condition of victims, prevent the development of dangerous consequences of exposure to emergency factors, and create conditions for the subsequent safe and effective provision of qualified and specialized medical care.
