Stillborn

A stillborn fetus is a fetus that cannot breathe on its own at birth. This can happen for various reasons, such as genetic abnormalities, maternal diseases, or other factors. If the fetus is born without spontaneous breathing, it is considered stillborn.

A stillborn fetus can be detected before birth. In some cases, this can be determined by ultrasound or other diagnostic methods. If the fetus is born without breathing, then doctors must carry out resuscitation measures to save its life.

The causes of stillbirth can vary. Some of these include genetic disorders such as Down syndrome or Edwards syndrome, maternal infections such as rubella or toxoplasmosis, and placenta problems such as abruptio placenta.

If the fetus is stillborn, it can be a very difficult event for the family. However, doctors can try to save the fetus's life using various resuscitation techniques. One of these methods is artificial pulmonary ventilation (ALV).

It's important to note that stillbirth can be associated with other problems, such as low birth weight or future health problems. Therefore, if you have any concerns about your baby's health, it is recommended that you contact your doctor for advice.
