Introduction
The mesonephric duct is a paired tubular organ in the human and animal embryo, which is a derivative of the urogenital sinus, located at the level of the V–VIII lumbar vertebrae. Equipped with pockets for the testicles - the primary seminal follicles.
In males and females who are hermaphrodites, the mesonephal duct is replaced not by a secondary sex gland, as in most chordates, but by paired gonads, the so-called reproductive buds. The scrotum and internal genital organs are formed on the basis of meso
