Brucke muscle

Muscle trouser

**The Bruges muscle** is an efferent leg muscle that is located under the medial head of the quadriceps muscle and prevents the leg from turning outward. It is the only thigh muscle that does not form a musculoskeletal structure on the lateral malleolus. It is located between the medial and lateral nerves of the buttocks and is called the deep muscular fibrous apex (DMA). It is an effective flexor and stabilizer of the lateral knee. It limits protrusion and inward adduction of the hip.

Description

The brugette muscle is a short, ribbon-shaped bundle of muscle fibers oriented tangentially to the medial-lateral surface of the thigh. It is formed by several bundles of crumbs. The spaces between these fibers are filled with connective tissue.
