Muscle, Papillary Posterior (M. Papillaris Posterior, Pna)

Muscle, papillary posterior, m. papillaris posteriоr

Muscles containing long fusiform muscle fibers and supplied by axial branches of the radial nerves, which contain long axial cylindrical peripheral processes of the outer nerve fiber cells. All transverse muscles (except the deepest ones) belong to this group, both those attached to the deep structures of the carpal joint and wrist joint, and those located behind them and limiting the joint capsule.
