Nephroureterectomy, Ureteronephrectomy is a surgical operation that involves removing the kidney along with the ureter. Typically performed for cancer of the renal pelvis or ureter. This operation is also performed when the kidney is destroyed as a result of vesiurethral reflux to prevent further reflux into the remaining ureter that would occur if only the kidney was removed.

A nephroureterectomy is a surgical procedure during which a kidney organ and the nephroureter contained within it are removed. This operation is performed to remove the affected organ, which is necessary for the following pathologies:

* urolithiasis; * tumor lesion; * kidney dysfunction; * other diseases that can provoke a condition where the kidney is unable to perform its function.

Removal of the kidney and vessel is carried out from the small pelvis, under the influence of general anesthesia; after such an operation, the patient receives a long period of rehabilitation and elimination of the threat of recurrence of the disorder.
