Nasal Branches Anterior Ethmoidal Hepba (Rami Nasales Anteriores, Bna)

The nasal branches of the anterior ethmoidal nerve (anatomical name "rami anteriores nervi cribrosi" or "ramus nasalis anterioris") are branches of the first (main) trunk of the ethmoid artery and represent one of the anatomical structures of the human internal carotid system. They are responsible for the innervation and blood supply to the structures of the nose, and also participate in the processes of smell, breathing and ensuring the outflow of excess nasal secretions into the nasal cavity.

The anterior nasal branches of the ethmoidal nerve are the most numerous of all branches of the nervous apparatus; they form a unique network of anastomotic connections, including many secondary branches that have the structure of the midgut. These branches are a structural part of the so-called superior spinous duct, which runs along the lateral wall of the orbit and forms a contact
