Octanine F

Octanine F is a hemostatic agent used to treat bleeding. It consists of blood clotting factor - IX, which is a key component in the human body involved in the process of blood clotting.

Description: OCTANINE F, a medicinal product that includes five active components: the active ingredient is blood coagulation factor IX (stabilized in concentration in each unit of dry concentrate drug with activated factor XIII); as auxiliary ingredients - L-histidine, L-glutamic acid, anhydrous sucrose. The lyophilisate is a white powder with a characteristic odor, practically free of protein impurities and has a pH of approximately 5.5–7.0. During the production of the drug, the color may change from white to yellowish and dark yellow, which does not affect the effectiveness and tolerability of the drug. The lyophilized powder is easily soluble in water. To prepare 2 ml of the prepared lyophilisate solution, add 8 ml of water for injection. The finished solution is neutral in color.

Indications: in adults and children over 12 years of age with hereditary and acquired deficiency of coagulation factor VIII for the immediate prevention and treatment of bleeding; during surgical interventions when blood cannot be replaced or when its replacement is unrealistic or impractical;

to replenish factor IX as monotherapy or complex therapy for deficiency
