Olympic forehead

**The Olympian Forehead** is the first among the greatest monuments of Hellenic art and the most famous of its sanctuaries. Associated with it is the idea of ​​the foundation of the ancient polis at the beginning of the 1st millennium BC. e. (as well as the archaic legend about the dispute between Athena and Poseidon for primacy in the creation and name of the polis). This name is one of the most mythological and sometimes devoid of unambiguous identification:
