A nevoid tumor, or non-inflammatory tumor, is a breast growth that is not associated with inflammation or infection. It arises from the glandular tissue of the mammary glands and can be detected both by manual palpation and during mammography - radiography of the mammary glands.
A non-inflammatory tumor can vary in size and shape, but usually does not grow very quickly and is not cancerous. However, it can cause discomfort and tenderness in the breast. If a nevoid tumor is detected, it is recommended to consult a mammologist for further examination and diagnosis.
