Orthofer

Ortofer is an anti-inflammatory drug that is produced in Russia and belongs to the group of phenylaskite acid derivatives. The main indications for its use are inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system, pain of various origins. In addition, it can be taken to treat upper respiratory tract infections, migraines, dizziness, post-radiation injuries and to prevent complications during surgery. Contraindications to the use of Ortofer are hypersensitivity to the drug, peptic ulcer of the stomach or duodenum, disorders of the hematopoietic process, bronchial asthenia, children under 6 years of age and the last period of pregnancy.

In case of an overdose of the drug, symptoms such as dizziness, headache, weakness, clouding of consciousness are observed, intoxication of the body and damage to the gastrointestinal tract are possible. In case of overdose, it is necessary to take measures to remove the drug from the body and carry out symptomatic measures.

You should pay attention to the following features of the use of Ortofer. The drug is applied topically to intact skin, and the drug should be taken orally no later than half an hour before meals, since the moment of absorption of the drug is of specific importance. To reduce adverse reactions, it is necessary to prescribe the drug according to the principle of the lowest dose in a moderate form. Its use is also recommended exclusively under the supervision of a physician, since long-term therapy can lead to impaired hematopoietic function and inflammation of the hepatobiliary system.

Ortofer has contraindications from the circulatory system, hematopoietic organs and blood vessels, promotes the development of systemic and local allergic reactions, destruction of the mucous membrane of the nose and mouth, irritation of the gastrointestinal mucosa and impaired renal function.
