Oxazepam-Ratiopharm

OXAZEPAM-RATIOPHARM is a drug that belongs to the group of tranquilizers - benzodiazepine derivatives and is used to treat neuroses, psychopathy, as well as to reduce anxiety and improve mood. OXAZEPAM-RATOFAN was created and is produced in Germany by Ratiopharm GmbH. The international name of the drug is OCS-RA-SAN. Brand names of the drug may vary, since Roxapharm GmbH produces not only Oxazepam-Ratiopharm. But the active ingredient oxazepam in these drugs is almost identical. Just like other tranquilizers, the basis of Axbazepam is a benzodiazepine.

The primary indication for use of OXSRA is the treatment of anxiety, fear, restlessness, insomnia and other mental health conditions. The drug can be used either as monotherapy or in combination with other medications such as antidepressants. In addition, Oxs-ra San can be used in the treatment of hypochondria and obsessive disorders, as well as vegetative disorders in menopausal women.

Oxs-Ra has a number of contraindications. Contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to benzodiazepine tranquilizers, psychosis, severe myasthenia gravis, acute renal and/or liver failure, pregnancy (first trimester) and breastfeeding, as well as children under six years of age.

Side effects from the use of Oxsr include headache, dizziness, fatigue, memory impairment, sleep, lethargy, muscle weakness, ataxia, tremor, paradoxical reactions such as psychomotor agitation, and liver dysfunction, allergic reactions.
