Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome

Peutz-Jeghers syndrome is a hereditary disease that is characterized by the presence of benign tumor-like growths (hamartomas) of the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract. These growths are bright pink or blue in color and can be detected during endoscopy.
