Physiology

Physiology is a special field of biology, the purpose of which is to study the most general laws of life of all living beings. Consequently, the subject of study is the most general manifestations of life - reproduction, respiration, metabolism, growth and development, irritability, transmission of excitation, etc. In the course of evolution, these phenomena acquired the character of properties that are inherent in all living beings.

Biochemists study the reactions of macromolecules from a chemical point of view. They are engaged in the physical and analytical applications of chemical phenomena, developing ways to prepare and study more complex molecules, paying special attention to their structure, composition and shape. The comparative historical method is widely used by them in the study of matter. Important areas in this area are the study of enzymes and proteins, as well as the improvement of new instruments.
