Pyelotomy Anterior

In modern urology there is the concept of “pyelotomy”. A pyelotome is a medical instrument that expands the cavity of the collecting system within the kidney.

In urology, pyelotomy is an open surgical intervention on an organ to expand its cavity. This may be required in cases of inflammatory diseases, structural defects and oncological neoplasms.
