Pyloroplasty according to Mikulic

Pyloroplasty (from Latin pilus - hair and Greek - plazmos - “leakage”) or Gastrotomy according to Mikulicz (former name) is a method of treating gastrointestinal fistula - the surgical creation of an anastomosis of the stomach with the small intestine under the control of the Fibrogastroduodenoscopy apparatus. The author described the operation in 1875, using the previously used Heinecke-Mikulicz technique to relieve obstructive jaundice. Examination of patients' stomachs can be performed at the same time as this operation. Filling the space between the scar tissue with the two couplings is called a “handle.” U
