Vignali culture medium
Vignal's nutrient medium - a medium named after the scientist René Vignal, is used for growing and cultivating microorganisms. This environment is widely used in biotechnology, microbiology, and medicine. Since microorganisms on such a nutrient medium can divide and reproduce themselves, this allows them to multiply quickly and increase their numbers.
The basis of the Vinyali nutrient medium is Visyalya broth. This is a medium consisting of meat (usually beef), distilled water and a small amount of some spices. In addition to meat and broth, the food medium may contain individual ingredients such as sucrose, starch and minerals. These ingredients are often added in specific quantities, depending on the type of bacteria and their needs, to ensure optimal growth and reproduction in the environment.
Vinial's medium does not contain growth inhibitors (substances that inhibit the growth of microbes) such as penicillin or blood serum. It allows you to easily adjust the pH and ionic composition in a liquid medium, which allows you to select certain macro- and microelements for the cultivation of bacterial cultures. Vinyaley's medium also contains muramide peptone (peptide), which is added to the diet of the culture medium and promotes glucose synthesis. This culture medium provides the basis for microbial growth in many cells, meaning there is no need to add any nutrients to maintain cell culture.
