Plastic Surgeries

Plastic surgery: restoration of body shape and function

Plastic surgeries are surgical interventions that are aimed at restoring the shape and function of a damaged or distorted organ or surface of the human body. In the process of plastic surgery, various methods can be used, such as tissue movement, transplantation or transplantation of tissue, implantation into the patient’s tissue of materials that are alien to the body, but harmless to it - various products made of metals, plastics, synthetic fiber, etc.

Plastic surgeries can solve a variety of problems - from cosmetic ones, such as the elimination of congenital and acquired defects, for example, cleft lip, loss of the nose, tightening scars, to the complete replacement of organs necessary for life, such as the esophagus, large blood vessel, kidney, etc.

One of the most successful techniques is the use of tissue from the patient himself. When transplanted, the patient’s own bone is absorbed over time, but serves as a kind of frame into which new bone tissue has time to grow. At the same time, the success of the operation greatly depends on the correct selection of tissues and their compatibility with the patient’s body.

Plastic surgeries using foreign tissues or organs are the most complex. Due to its biological properties, the transplant often turns out to be incompatible with the patient’s tissues, and then its engraftment is achieved and supported by a system of special therapeutic measures.

Plastic surgery is widely used in cosmetic surgery, for example, in the removal of wrinkles, skin folds, tumors, etc. However, it should be remembered that plastic surgery is a serious step that should be undertaken only after careful consideration and consultation with a medical specialist.

Plastic surgery is an important field of medicine that helps people restore their self-confidence and make their lives more comfortable. However, like any other medical procedure, plastic surgery should be performed only by qualified specialists in specially equipped clinics using modern technologies and techniques.
