Subscapularis Fossa

Subscapula refers to the skin of the muscles in and under the shoulder blades.

In simple terms, the subscapular fossae are formed at the edge of the shoulder blade. It is there that the muscle responsible for moving the arm in the shoulder joint is located, as well as the back part of the muscle that moves the scapula, and a small vessel that plays an important role - controlling blood pressure, or heart rate.
