Polidan

Polidan is a drug that is used to stimulate hematopoiesis. It is used to treat diseases associated with leukopenia and thrombocytopenia, as well as to prevent a decrease in blood cell levels during radiation or cytostatic therapies.

Polidan is produced in Russia by the company Polidan NFPC. This is one of the few hematopoiesis stimulators available on the Russian market. The drug has an international name - sodium nucleospertmate.

One of the advantages of Polydan is that it can be used in patients with leukemia, leukemic tumors and other diseases of the blood system. Unlike other drugs that stimulate hematopoiesis, Polidan does not have a toxic effect on the hematopoietic organs and is able to protect against unwanted side effects.

Indications for the use of Polidan include leukopenia and thrombocytopia resulting from radiation or chemotherapy, as well as immunosuppression caused by chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

However, there are a number of restrictions on the use of Polydan. Like any medicine, it may cause side effects such as fever, redness, and soreness at the injection site. In addition, the drug is contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding, children under three years of age
