How to create a tool to assess a person’s strength and readiness to work if he has to recover for a long time after an illness? Or after surgery or rehabilitation after an accident?
We have long accepted global standards for early start of work, not counting individual cases where the physical history affects the patient's legal capacity. But often the patient’s physical readiness to work is in doubt, as a result of which he can work until complete recovery. And there are more and more such patients - each hospitalization and recovery courses continue to move them further and further from the workplace. How can early assessments of patient strength, adaptation, and well-being be incorporated into current performance assessment systems? We can use mobile apps from Google Fit and Apple Health and integrate with our exercise, recovery and clinical history data.
In the future, we plan to conduct a series of works on a pilot basis for patients who have undergone certain operations.
