Pseudosclerosis spasticus is a medical condition that is characterized by loss or deterioration of muscle mobility, especially in the lower body. This is usually caused by a weakness in the nerve impulse needed for the muscles to contract and relax correctly. This condition can be a symptom of various diseases and problems with the nervous system, such as multiple sclerosis, polyneuropathy and others.
Symptoms of pseudosclerosis spasticus may include loss of control of a leg or arm, feelings of weakness or numbness, and difficulty walking and balancing. Sometimes patients complain of muscle pain.
Some common causes of pseudosclerosis spasticus include diseases
