Psychosis Postoperative

Psychosis after surgery occurs as a result of a person’s adaptation to more comfortable conditions. Here the law of the human psyche comes into play, according to which a person always tries to simplify his life and include all information in one direction - “I want to live well!” Having achieved comfortable conditions, he can easily do without the slightest communication with society for some time. Therefore, every patient immediately strives to do everything possible to regain their former freedom of life. This manifests itself in the patient’s desire to recover as quickly as possible. That is why many patients refuse to visit the hospital canteen and are ready to eat only at home throughout their illness.

Immediately after recovery from anesthesia, patients may feel restless and anxious.
