Psorkutan is an antipsoriasis drug that is produced in Germany by Schering AG. It contains calcipotriol and is available in the form of an ointment of 0.005%.
Psorcutan is indicated for the treatment of psoriasis. However, like any medicine, it has its contraindications and side effects.
Contraindications to the use of psorcutan are hypersensitivity, calcium metabolism disorders and pregnancy.
Side effects may include local skin irritation and rarely hypercalcemia.
The interaction of psorcutan with other drugs has not been studied.
