Ranital

Ranital is a drug belonging to the group of H2 histamine receptor blockers. Produced in Slovenia by Lek DD. The international name of the drug is Ranitmail A. According to its active ingredients, it consists of ranidine.

Ranitidil is used for gastrointestinal ulcers, NSAIDs - gastropathy, postoperative ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux, Zolling-Ellisson syndrome, chronic dyspepia (epigastric and chest pain), as well as for the prevention of stress ulcer bleeding, Mendel syndrome. Contraindications to the use of the drug are individual intolerance to the components of the drug, a history of cirrhosis of portal encephalopathy (pathology of the liver, diseases accompanied by impaired liver function), disorders of the respiratory system and urinary system, pregnancy and lactation, children under 12 years of age. Side effects include allergic reactions, headaches, dizziness, anxiety, depression, hallucinations, vision problems, arrhythmia, constipation or diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, gastrointestinal pain, pancreatitis and liver dysfunction. The medicine may interact with other drugs (increase or decrease interaction). An overdose develops when the dosage of drugs is increased or too much of the drug is taken. The person may experience severe weakness, seizures, low heart rate, and cardiac arrest may occur. If an overdose of the drug occurs, you need to rinse the stomach; in case of convulsive attacks, use diazepem intravenously; in case of a slow heartbeat, use atropine sulfate intravenously.
