Rear Evacuation Point

A logistics evacuation point, abbreviated as EPT (rear evacuation point) is a temporary location for military personnel, employees and civilians, which is created during the period of mobilization or wartime to accommodate and ensure their livelihoods.

An evacuation point is created on the basis of buildings and structures that are not used in peacetime for holding public events, and are not objects of cultural heritage and do not have historical and cultural value.

The main purpose of an evacuation point is to provide conditions for accommodation, food, medical care and recreation for people in wartime conditions, as well as to carry out measures to prepare for the evacuation and accommodation of the population if necessary.

In order to organize an evacuation point, it is necessary to carry out a number of measures related to ensuring the safety and livelihoods of evacuated people. First of all, it is necessary to choose a suitable place to locate a point where the necessary conditions for the life and recreation of citizens will be created.

It is also necessary to provide food and medical care to evacuated people, for which it is necessary to have stocks of food, medicine and equipment for providing first aid.

In addition, it is necessary to organize work to prepare for the evacuation of citizens, which includes briefings, training in the rules of behavior in extreme conditions and preparation for the evacuation of property and equipment.

Thus, the evacuation point is an important element of the system of supporting the life of the population in wartime conditions. Its creation and organization of work requires high qualifications and responsibility from those in charge, since the lives and health of thousands of people depend on it.
