Rhesus Antibodies

Rh antigen is an antigen that is found in certain people with positive blood (Rh+) and can lead to a conflict with blood transfusions. The introduction of a small dose of “donor” blood into the body leads to the appearance of Rh antigen in the blood - one of the types of antibodies. Rh conflict occurs when two blood groups are incompatible with Rh positive antigens. If the second blood group belongs to the second part of the blood, then the process is not called a conflict but immunization and is considered as a normal immune state of the body.
